BTW, the early TCs, like yours, had a history of bad welds which lead to ATF leaks. Even though your leak may have been from a different cause, now would be a good time to upgrade to the later TC, expecially since you have one on hand. If you're not sure about its quality, it should be possible to get it rebuilt, which should not take too long, but I'm really not sure about the time aspect.
