I'm afraid there's really no good way to do this. The only real solution is to put in a type 3 engine. If you can find a decent running type 3 engine it should not be too expensive, but then you have to put it in your car and make it run. Installation would be a LOT easier than trying to cool a type 1 engine in there, but you would need to make sure that you get all the parts that you need, like especially the cooling air intake bellows at the rear. I realize that your situation makes all of this difficult. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
