The angle finder is an absolute must when doing the rear end. The half degree difference in the inner and outer splines will cause many a headache as well as make your car to sit lopsided. Rememmber to take a reading before you "unload" the torsion arms so you can do the math in calculating your final degree setting. ( I think it is 1/4" difference in height for every degree you change). Other than that doing all four wheels is a good afternoons worth of work. I just did all four yesterday. A certain vw related magazine covered it a few years back, I don't have the issue date with me now but contact me off list if you need to know. -- John 65 square (weezer) 04 jetta It may be ugly but she's all mine! > > In this case, invest in an angle finder that is commonly sold a Sears or one > of the other big box home improvement centers (tool section, about 10 bucks). > This will allow you to "dial in" each side to the other. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
