With part load the engine can tolerate much more, up to 40 deg, and this is what the vac adv gives you on a dual advance dist. Until you've measured exactly what vacuum you get from those ports and at what engine conditions, there's no way to know whether they are a good match to the vacuum can you're considering. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
