It is a mech/vac advance distributor, originally from a 69 dual carb manual, but seems to work very satisfactorily on my 69 dual carb automatic. I had to time it with a strobe timing light to get the timing (hopefully) exactly right, but since then it seems to do a great job. My carbs are stock dual Solex 32PDSITs.
