There seems to be a lot of animosity toward the 009 lately, but I have no 
experience with it. My first choice would be to try to find the correct dist, 
but a good second choice would be to use an early type 3 FI dist and block off 
the vacuum ports.

While some of the late Solex dual carb setups in europe appear to have come 
with suitable vacuum pickoffs to work with our vac adv, the ones in this 
country, up thru '67, worked differently and won't work properly with the late 
vac advances.
