Dave's right, but I get around this by never filling up just before I park the car. So on a long trip, the best way to do this is to stop for lunch, THEN fill up and head right back onto the road. If you fill up before lunch, you're very likely to find a pool of gas under your car when you come out. Question: What's worse than coming out and finding a puddle of gas under your car? Answer: Coming out and finding a dead cigarette butt in the middle of that puddle. Of course there are even worse possiblities.... -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
