I used generic bug (?) ones from local flaps- they are larger dia but 
cheap and readily available. I used a 5" section of racing bicycle inner 
tube- stretched half of it over the outside of the tube, tucked the 
other half inside- it creates a good seal on the metal spigots and you 
don't need to jubilee clip it on so there is no stress on the tube ends 
which is where it failed on the original stuff. Its lasted 2 years so 
far and looks like new.
