[T3] Clock repair question

Another question ... I have a 6 V and a 12 V clock. The face on the 6  
V clock is in excellent shape while the 12 V clock has a crack  
through the numbers. I want to use the face, that is the piece with  
the numbers, from the 6 V and place it in the 12 V clock. But I  
cannot figure out how to get the movement arms off. There is the  
fitting on the end but it does not appear to screw or pull off and  
yet I believe it must. Has anyone else taken one of these apart? Thanks.
