Everything I've researched and discussed said to keep the cam similar to
stock, or stock sized. The D-jet doesn't like a lot of cam, as it messes with the
MPS, and makes tuning out the flat spot/stumble hard to do without changing
the cam. Remember, the MPS is based on manifold vacuum, and changing cams
reduces the vacuum the engine creates. While gathering info for my t-4 conversion, I
was advised of the same thing, keep the cam stock sized if you're going with
D-jet. Fortunately, mine is stock sized, so I don't have that to worry about.
In my case, I'm going with a t-4 D-jet FI system, so that everything matches,
and is correctly sized for it.
