That was quite a list, and very well spelled out.

Unfortunatley, you have a BIG job ahead of you if you want to save this car. 

You clearly need a type 3 engine, and some expensive bodywork. The engine might 
not be too hard to come by, but the bodywork will be tough, and I'm guessing 
that it will be expensive. The one bright spot is that the AT may actually be 
fine, but you won't really know until you get the right engine in there.

My best suggestion would be to just stow this car somewhere until you have the 
time and resources to spend on it. Right now, you need cheap transportation. 
Maybe you should be looking for something Japanese that you can buy and keep 
running for less money than this will take.

You're clearly one of those people that we'd really like to help; I just don't 
see how we can at this point. You need so much more than just our advise.

Is there any chance that you could find another type 3 in the Phoenix area, one 
in better shape, perhaps?
