Yes, I'm glad I did that earlier today to stop myself looking silly.   ;-)

Actually, on mine there's about an inch of body colour visible above the frame
bulkhead before the carpet starts.  As I can't get my pedal to the bulkhead
(luckily) I'm not certain which it would hit first, but I think the arm would
hit the frame bulkhead first.

I suppose the different tolerance on dual and single circuit m/c pushrods is
exactly because the dual is NOT meant to be adjusted and the single CAN be
adjusted.
