Re; Fuel Mileage...winter difference. Google up "MTBE Fuel Mileage". There are heaps of hits on discussions regarding how this MTBE additive cuts fuel efficiency from 2% to 10%. Then, to figure out which reports are most on-target. And remember that big oil, et ilk, is not above planting false criticisms of itself so that they can be easily discredited...thus discrediting any and all criticism as "alarmist" "anti business" "conspiracy theories" etc. MTBE is in the news a lot because it's a bad pollutant. If the fuel efficiency angles were more reported, it would help in getting more action.
