I've gotten some from West Coast Metric that seemed fine, except for the 
windshield rubber, which cracked rather quickly at the corners. 

At that time, I believe that what WCM was selling was NOS VW parts. I've heard 
that they now have their own molds and make their own extrusions (of have it 
made for them.) If that's true, then the quality could be excellent, or it 
could be junk, depending on what they demanded from their supplier. I'd love to 
see someone make good quality OEM style rubber. I'd certainly be willing to pay 
a little extra for better quality.
