Yes, I've found that wives can sometimes successfully be called upon to help out
with wet-sanding the fiddly bits like the air louvres - well, their fingers are
that bit smaller!   This way you may also get to do it in the comfort of the
house, since they certainly will object to working in the garage if the
temp/humidity isn't just right.  Of course you have to put up with the comments
for years after, but that's better than having to keep re-touching the
"professional" respray!

I sold my Bay camper at the weekend - guy just walked up to son Steve and asked
if it was for sale.  We were wondering if it would get any use if I repaired the
body and made it look smaty again.   Well, the family came round the next day
and took a good look, and now it's gone - lovely idea that they will enjoy it,
that I won't have to do the welding repairs after all, and that there's space on
the drive again.  I reckon that Bus had decided I wasn't about to get on
repairing it!
