Pertronix is a great idea and the right idea... problem is quality control on this and most aftermarket parts. Pertronix generally only last 3-4 years before there is a failure of the coil in the unit. 009 is a big step backward, not set up for our engines at all... they are a dist for constant RPM industrial engines so Id grab a FI distributor from the earlier years, 68-71 and use that with or without the vacuum and just keep the points. Good ventilated lubripoints from Standard ignition will hold thier adjustment and have always lasted me at least 15Kmi before I change them out... Ill let Toby chime in on breathers but make sure your problem is with the breather before you spend alot of money on it, the stock breather should work fine but there are things that can be done with its hookup that can restrict its flow and cause the oiling you describe.
