The wiring for the fuel pump and the main power relay may be missing in a car that was converted to carbs. The FI needs a fuel return line, so make sure that is still there and not damaged, or filled with dirt. You'll also need the return nipple in the gas tank, so make sure that is there. You'll need the fuel pump relay and the FI main power relay, and all their wiring, and, of course, the FI wiring harness, which changed from year to year. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
