Well, trying to relieve the binding in the slave cylinder left us back 
without enough travel,

If you've done a hydraulic clutch in a type 3, I would really like to 
know some things about it.

What size slave cylinder did you use?
What size master cylinder did you use?
What type of pedal assembly did you use?
How was it all mounted?
