We did a complete re-assembly of a freshly painted car @ the DDB last year -- all new seals everywhere. The seals provided for the front hood and rear hatch were the same cross-section, but the one for the hood was longer. Worked fine on the rear -- almost *too* well, closing it was a b*tch with the seal installed. Use a bit of black Permatex weatherstrip glue and you'll be fine.
