it works OK, the balance pipe looks like a bit of a backyard job. I was
just curious where the pressure tapping for the AT vacuum signal is taken in
the factory balance pipes and where it penetrates the front tinware? Is the
front tin on AT and MT cars different?



This is my dual-carb AT balance pipe. As far as I know it is an original part:

The two ends connect to the manifolds, and the center pipe goes down to the vacuum modulator.

This is my front tin. As you can see it is slightly the worse for wear, but you can see the notch that surrounds the balance pipe where it goes down to the AT:

Is it the same as the FI version?
