I would suspect that hose from the flat plate to the oil breather. Does
your air cleaner have any unused fittings??
Try just capping that fitting on the flat plate and see what happens.
Vent the oil breather into the air cleaner, if you have the fitting,
other wise, for now, just vent the oil breather to atmosphere for
testing.
