The 33 degrees > sounds like it is set for 6 cylinder. This is what the meter face says; 1st line: 4 Zyl- and it has a scale from 0-24 with arrows forming a circle which I deducted as an RPM scale. Under that scale it has numbers starting with 90 degrees on the left and ending on 0 degrees on the right. and a symbol that looks like slice of pizza with a degree sign at on corner. 2nd line: 6 Zyl and numbers 0-16 and the arrows in a circle, and the under scale of 60 degrees to 0 degrees underneath. The meter handle says, DREHZAHL on the handle. I hooked this o the green cable on the coil and ground. SCHLIESSWINKEL TESTER Did I measure something wrong?, I used the top scale to measure RPM's with the Vaccum line hooked to the distrubutor after I aligned the 7 1/2 BTDC timing mark on the fan to the mark on the case. I did not hear any pinging this time, but fact that the feeler gauge and dwell measurement do not match has me puzzled.
