Re: [T3] Dwell and Timing


Point gap affects dwell and timing. if your timing is spec than having the
dwell off a bit wont affect detonation.  If your detonating and your timing
is stock check and make sure your not running lean or more importantly that
your using the correct octane gas for the car, which is 92 OCT in the US
with that car.

If its still knocking and pinging then somebody probably fly cut the heads
and didnt add shims to lower the compression ratio... common problem.
