Yes, they were all sprayed separately and spread out over several weeks.

As Bob Heydt said in his response, the solid colors that our cars were 
originally painted are really forgiving of painting them at different 
times.  My base coat was actually a single stage urethane so it dried 
glossy, but I also buried everything in urethane clearcoat as well to 
get some real depth to the shine and color and to let me sand the step 
in the paint at the edge of the flames out.  I have 6 coats of clear on 
all of the flamed panels and 2 coats of clear on the rest of the car!  
All this is on top of an epoxy sealer coat, many coats of high build 
primer (most of which gets block sanded off), another coat of epoxy 
sealer and then two coats of color.

I ended up using a gallon of epoxy sealer, 2 gallons of high build 
primer, 1.5 gallons of color, and 2 gallons of clear.  Be prepared for 
sticker shock.....I have over $1800 in just materials for Sophy's 
paint!
