That was the sort I used on my 6V Beetle, but it never really worked the lights
properly, and I found a flat Hella electronic one to do the job.  The
electro-mechanical flashers never seemed to cope with voltage drop very well.  I
guess a re-wire, refixing connectors etc would have got over some of the
problems.
