You can repair them if it is only a small hole- I repaired one on my Type 4 because I couldn't find any new ones.


It needs to be heated up and compressed, then the hole soldered up before it cools down. You can then check it in hot water to make sure it opens at the correct temperature.

I read somewhere that they are not making the brass bellows style for Type 1/3 anymore now?
