Just got back from Hershey, boy is it nice down there! Gonna be a really awesome invasion. Ron and I went on part of the route for the cruise which includes some great photo-op's including teired parking and overlooks of Hershey. The camp grounds are looking good and the show area is going to be freshly mowed for us as they roll out the red carpet for us at Deja Vu! We talked with the owner of the SP2 as he was at Imports at Carlisle (right across from the Opels!) and plans to come to the invasion with the car so all will get to see a really mint example of one of VW's rarest cars. This is gonna Rock! Several full drag cars will be there too just in case anybody thinks that the east coast if full of lightsiders :-) Be sure to make your reservations now, the rate at the host hotel is fantastic for August in Hershey. There is SO MUCH that the rest of the family can do too... Hershey park has this HUGE rollercoaster.... Baltimore and Washington DC are nearby, so is Philadelphia and the Amish country is right next door. Just a couple months away!
