I have gotten all sorts of mileage...I find it depends a lot on how you drive as well as where you are driving. Ie quick vs slow accelerations, highways allow for a consistent rpm range...which can be good. I try to pay attention to where the gas pedal is when driving, the closer to the floor, the worse your mileage. -Kevin -----Original Message----- From: Gamboa, Gary [mailto:Gary.Gamboa@sylvania.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 2004 6:06 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: RE: [T3] Wacky Mileage >I normally get about 20-21 MPG (combination of >stop-and-go and highway driving)... >I got 29-30 MPG on this all-highway trip My last full tank, 10.5 gallons, got me 310 miles, that's 29.5 mpg, mostly highway. With my limited experience, I would say 20-21 sounds low for combination miles.
