trim and the end treatments.

They also offer a fender beading kit specific to Type 3s with 3 different
profiles for the various parts of the interface. It is only in black, but I am
sure I could paint it to match Sophy's new coat of paint. Some of her
original VW Blue beading is just in really rough shape...cracked and discolored.
Anyone with experience with the CIP beading kit? >>

John, I've only tried their (CIP's) late model thin trim, and the lower part
of it doesn't fit any of the OE VW clips (then or now). I bought my wide
stainless steel trim from ISP west, and it fit perfect, and really looks good even
after being outside for over 3 years. : )
I haven't tried their fender beading either, but I've heard good results
using ISP west's, as ISP is also offering a somewhat close repo fender beading.
The only other opition is to try and find some NOS beading. I think Everrett or
Jason can chime in here on that. I hope this helps.
