Are the holes on the steering box where the tie rods go the same as the ones on the spindles where the tie rods go. The reason I ask is because the two inner tie rods will not seat in the hole all the way down to the rubber like the outters? Is this the way it's suppose to be? Thanks for the measurements I will try again tomarrow as today has come to an end. Does anyone have an extra spring for the shroud cooling flaps or could any spring work? Should I accuire (sp) the spring first then assemble or just assemble and ad the spring later? Does the washer in the oil breather go first or the spring? I am gonna just go with that (spring and washer)because that steel wool gots me nervous about anything being in the case:( could I just put some deisel fuel in the case to try and completely clean it out?
