What a coincidence! I just installed a front end that I rebuilt 2 weeks ago. I took the car in to have it aligned. When they said it was'nt in the computer I asked if anyone would use my factory service manual to do the adjustment; they agreed. The mechanic called me into the bay to show me that he couldn't get the camber within spec adjusting just the upper ball joints. We agreed to get it as close as possible and leave it, wich brings me to a question. If the camber can't be adjusted to spec with the notches in the lower ball joints straight forward is it OK to move them enough to get camber into spec? Right now camber is about 2 degrees positive. In retrospect I think I'd rather my camber was a little on the negative side.
