They have no wear parts, so they should last forever. Unfortunately, they seem 
to have electronic failures occasionally, so the choice is less clear than one 
might hope.

The common abbreviation for distributor is dizzy, but I usually just type dist. 
Distributor is just way too long to type out many times in an email.
