Re: [T3] Corvair!

Keep in mind that a Corvair engine put to a VW transaxle needs something called a
reverse-rotation .. something (is it just a cam?) .. put into it. Parts and info are out there to
do it, I'm not going to bother looking it all up. The gist of it is that the 'vair engine rotates
"backwards" relative to the VW engine (and, in fact, most engines). So in addition to the
engine sealing issues for T3 conversion/installation, there's also that to consider. Plus, if
y'all think it's hard to find some T3-specific parts ... lol

If anyone's looking for a 'vair in the PNW area, there's an early-style one with a for-sale sign
on it around SE 72nd & SE Flavel in Portland, OR .. no idea of price or condition, just noticed
it when I was driving around earlier today.
