In a few years the grease will start to "dry" up. Then you can add some oil to bring it back to life. [Grease is just a mixture of oil and a thickener. As the oil separates out, it lubricates. Eventually the only thing left is the thickener, which has no lubricating value.] Jim, thanks for sharing this.
