I see 2 possibilities: dirt (could be rubber from the line ID) in the fuel
line, which eventually gets into a carb somewhere, or running too rich which
eventually fouls a plug or two.

I'd start by doing NOTHING except putting in a NEW set of plugs. If this
temporarily fixes it, then I'd say that it's a rich mixture, or plugs that are
too cold, so they don't keep themselves clean.

If the plugs don't make a temporary fix, then I'd check that carb again, and
possibly replace some rubber lines. Make sure you have a filter somewhere
(don't let it hang from a carb) with good rubber lines everywhere after the
filter.

What plugs are you using? Is this leaded gas?

Hint: Fouled plugs will run okay until they warm up a bit.
