Hello again everyone.
Im going to do my trip report day by day as its too much to put all into one
evening.
First off... Id like to thank all that attened or at least tried to...
without you all it wouldnt have happened! A big thanks to Ron Mann for
putting this concept all togeather and to all the HAVOC members that helped
with the show! Without all the help It would have been nuts!
Thanks to Jim Adney and John Jaranson for the tech sessions... these are so
well done and put togeather its just like attending a training school...
only Better!
Thanks for John Jaranson for all the incredible car art, shirts and Dash
plaques again for this event... I even had people looking for shirt from the
Restaurant!!
Thanks to Alan "Bonedaddy" Erush for the Professional Video of the whole
event, cruise, tech sessions and all!! (CD forthcoming) He bailed me out at
the last minute too when my videographer couldnt make it!!
HUGE thanks to Brian Fye for getting my Notch down and back safely and for
getting the carbs working better... more on this later! and for all the
Help with the trip out to get the Witness car in NJ (more on this later too)
He went well beyond the call of Duty!!!
Big Thanks to Eric Dluhos for letting us have the Witness car for the
invasion!
Big thanks to Tracy Moore for helping us get the Witness car back into safe
storage with his car hauler at the last minute.
And a big thanks to the Deja Vu for letting us use thier facility for the
event!!
I hope I havent left anybody out... you were all great!
Day 1... Brian Fye, Dave and Anne Hall and I head down to Hershey from
Albany NY, bit over 5 hour drive... UNLESS IT POURS... which it did! we
drove through a Tornadic thunderstorm cell and despite the lack of an actual
Tornado it poured like you wouldnt believe!! one lane barracaded
interstates dont drain well in a downpour and we were driving through about
3" of standing water... and poor Brian is in my 65 with the lack of fresh
air ventilation and wipers that... well... arent as fast as the late ones!
But with care we made it... and a good thing we didnt leave earlier, there
had been a Hailstorm there... tree limbs down, leaves plastered on roofs
and sides of buildings... pays to procrastinate sometimes!
Thursday wasnt too busy... getting things ready, buying chocolate....
nice cruise at the Eatery with the HAVOC club... it was also nice to see
that the Tornado that went through Campbelltown a couple weeks earlier
missed the host hotel by a few hundred yards... that could have been a
problem!!
More tommoro... and the great adventure of FRIDAY!
