The red button is a reset button and it's used in only a couple tests.

This is better than a multimeter for some tests in that it will actuate the
injectors.  Here's the manual:

I like it better than a multimeter because it's can diagnose several things and
quickly.  It's the right tool for the right job, basically.  However, the other
unit with the meter in it would be nice to have :-)
