I couldnt stand a clutch that engaged so far up eather so nearly 20 years
ago I took a torch and "Modified"  (still used a STOCK part) that stop plate
so that it would let the brake pedal work with the freeplay as it should and
kept the clutch pedal about halfway to the floor.  IF you change that
pushrod length though... Id be worried about still having enough pedal
travel to engage the secondary hydraulic circuit if one of them fails.
