I actually disagree that it's a concern. A hydraulic clutch setup configures your clutch just like your brake system. So, the failure frequency is far lower than a cable. If the replacement part thing is keeping you up at night, then I hope you also drive around with a spare brake master cylinder and some spare calipers and wheel cylinders :-). Also, one more advantage: *most* aftermarket hydraulic clutch systems use American threads, not metric ones. That means that replacement lines are easy as pie to find.
