I just looke in my ETKA, and it doesn't show the throttle cable with the
loop. But it does show a picture of the pedal and linkage. There was an
intermediate pedal assembly between the large roller that the foot
rested directly on, and the small roller like the FI T-3's have. 
I am pretty sure that my '65 T-1 has the intermediate style. I don't
know it the early T-3's had that or not, or if they have always had the
pedal and roller system.
