I don't have those sheets printed out, so I can't tell. If you're talking about 
when the Type 1s changed from a plain roller to a roller behind a pedal, then 
I'm pretty sure that was in the 50s. In that case type 3s probably all had the 
braided cables and the Bowden tube.

I was talking about tubing to use to make the ends of the cable from. You know, 
to bend into a Z on one end and leave straight on the other for the throttle 
lever to screw down on. Both ends would have to be fixed to the wire somehow 
(crimped, soldered, etc.) Cu would be easy to work with, but I don't know if it 
might be so soft that the set screw would keep coming loose.
