John- Here is my 2 cents.... You could pull the 3-4 and have it worked to have the same cc as 1-2 or You could buy two different sizes of the copper head gaskets as you stated to get you closer. This would work well then you don't have to tear the other side down (or did you already do that?) I would tend to think that the 2nd choice would be a faster fix.
