Wilson Get a hold of Hurst. They carry a lifetime warranty on there products and will send you a new unit for free if it is worn out and not operating. I sent this information to Mark off list (by mistake last night) You must send them a refundable security deposit or send in the unit before they will ship you a new one. Check them out they were very prompt in helping me out in the past on an American vehicle shifter I had some years ago. PS. I have just been searching for a link to them for you and can't seem to find much except Mr. Gasket. Perhaps you should contact them for more info Peter Legault I saw that Mark had written about how nice his shifter was and wanted to see if anyone could help me with mine. I have an older Hurst (bought it used like most things that I buy) and I agree with Mark, it is nice, except for one thing: the reverse lock out isn't locking out. I am able to shift into reverse without pulling up the handle, always by accident. Any ideas? Is it just worn out? Thanks!
