If you are careful you can remove the crimp connectors from the plastic body and squeeze them VERY SLIGHTLY to tighten their grip on the injector pins. To remove the pins from the body, insert a small rod in the front of the connector, there is an extra recess next to each pin opening. You have to depress the locking tab on the side of the pin so that it can be withdrawn from the rear of the body. If you don't know exactly what I mean I recommend that you go to an auto parts store and see if they can show you, or sell you any kind of push on connector with a locking tab. Once you see this, you should be able to figure out how to make this work. I recommend that you NOT try to replace the pin. That takes even more skill. Just keep the ones you have and gently squeeze them. You can test their tightness on the injector pins before you reinstall them in the connector body. Be very careful. These wiring harnesses are old and brittle. It's best to do this kind of work in warm weather, when these parts are as plyable and forgiving as possible. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
