It depends on which parts you need. The best thing to do is to ask here first.

There are 2 possibilities, either it's leaking from the MC and the MC needs to
be rebuilt of replaced, or the main brake line to the rear brakes is rusted out
under the gas pedal and will have to be replaced. This latter is getting pretty
common in these old cars by now.

Could be the shifter bushing, or it could just be the early (-70) shift lever
which DOES have a lot of travel.

You should try to figure out what the problem really is before you plan a
solution. Carbs can certainly solve some problems, but the real solution is
often cheaper, quicker, and leaves you with a car you can license anywhere.
There is also a learning curve with carbs that most people don't expect.
Conversions to carbs usually take months to get the proper jetting worked out,
or the owners leave them running just way over-rich, which has multiple
downsides.

Things to check: make sure the mech adv is working. Make sure the voltage
regulator is giving you close to full voltage (~14V) when cruising, or at med
RPM. These are common problem areas and are cheap and easy to fix.

What year do you have and what state do you live in?
