> loose. It stays puts, but I was able to easily knock it loose checking the spark plug. > Is there anything I can do to tighten it, barring replacing the connector itself? Or is I have carefully made the connectors tighter. Here's what to do. Disconnect the plug and pull away the rubber boot. You need to extract each skinny female spade(?) connector from the hard plastic plug. There's a little sprung tab on each connector that snaps up when installed, and hooks into the plastic if you try to pull it out. You need to insert something like a stiff wire to depress the tab to extract the connector. Once extracted, it's possible to *gently* squish the connector with pliers so that it's a little tighter when installed. Replace the metal connectors in the hard plastic plugs, put the boot into position, install and go. -Greg ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
