[T3] Front Jack Points and Generator bolts

Where should I place the jack and jack stand when jacking up the
front end? I think it is important to note that I am jacking up both
sides so I can do a complete inspection and repair everything wrong with
the front end.
Also, what size and sort of bolts are used to hold down the
generator's retaining strap? Should they screw into the holes or be
sealed into those holes? Just today the bolt on the right came out of
its hole, and when I looked at it I realized that nothing was stripped
since it wasn't even screwed in, but instead had some sort of sealant
placed on it to keep it in, and I need to get a new bolt to keep the
strap tight on that side.
I would also like to let everyone know that despite the problems
with the front end, and the pulley housing and the muffler removed, I was
able to back up the car into my garage with no difficulty--although a lot
of noise=) Despite all the problems the engine still has it is running
better than it did when I bought it (it used to stall nearly every time I
put it in reverse unless I drove it in drive first, and I don't have to
hold down the gas pedal to start it now), thanks in no small part to the
help of this list. Thanks everyone!

Sincerely,
Christopher J. Valade
