<x-flowed> Your carb has a different fuel circuit at idle than at speed. Other than the idle air screw, there is also an idle jet. On a '67 these are electrically opened by the ignition switch via the coil. Turn the key to on, go to the back and pull the wires of each jet, you should hear a click of the solenoid opening the jet. No click means no fuel to that side. A clogged jet will give the same result, I have this happen twice a year at least. The car will run at idle, but only on one bank of cylinders. Pull plug wires to find which side, and then unscrew the idle jet on that carb and spray some carb cleaner in there.
