RE: [T3] Engine started! As did new problems...

Jim, et. al.,

All four of the lower head nuts were loose, one about 5 foot
pounds, the others were 2 or 3, but I'm not positive since I didn't take
note of it. Does this indicate anything? I will also check the lower
head nuts on the right side when I get a chance.
I have not done a compression check yet since the housing is
loose, and I don't want to have to put it back in (too much hassle to do
unnecessarily) until I have the proper bolts or until I get it out and
fixed, so I can't really start the engine for now.
Well, I have pictures of the car right after I bought it, and
even if some PO had lowered it, it was not this low by car (we put a few
minor cuts in the front tires when we were moving it from the street to
the driveway). And the shocks are completely shot, I had performed the
bouncing test, and my friend the mechanic verified what I had found.
What should I check out for damage? What would cause this? Could the
torsion arms, or some of them, be bent? I'm going to examine the front
end tomorrow using my Chilton's as a guide, and will be sure to post any
questions, concerns, or findings.

Sincerely,
Christopher J. Valade
