[T3] cross country-made it!

Hi all...

I just arrived in Boston last night...somerville actually(right next to
Boston).

Many thanks to Russ and Greg who helped give me the confidence to keep
plowing through....I had a day with Russ on sunday or was it
saturday...quick tune-up the valves were tight, i need to get a new
distributor(new can be a relative term).

Thanks to all for your support, and offers of help-for those of you i didn't
visit-there will be another time...the trip was too great to do just once.
the scenery was beautiful. next time i will put new pads on the seats right
away! we bought some chunks of foam from a fabric store along the way to
protect our butts...

now that I am home-the hardest part is going to be letting it sit for a
little while-so i have time to catch up with my job, before i start doing
any work on it...I will be posting a list of things to do when I get a
chance to work on it myself-just to let you know all the work I will be
doing...and possible parts I may be looking for...

one question on my mind...
I know I need a new distributor- the original was an AC. I think an AB, AC
or L type would fit in there, now the qustion to all of you-is there a big
difference between them? should I just go with the original style...and to
Jim Adney-as I have been told good things (by many sources) of your ability
to resurect/rebuild these-which types do you put together/recommend...

thanks
